I'M BACK!!!

I'm sorry i've been gone! i'm jumping back on this blog train immediately!

so i have a show on saturday and it would mean a lot if you came!!!



I am about to embark on some amazing adventures. One is we are going for Adds on 300 college radio stations starting in August!

two! I am so excited to say we get to do more songs in John Macy's rad studio the 8th of August! we'll be finishing all the songs for our recording! ya.

three. I'm up for some t.v. shows! we'll hopefully be added to a few MTV reality shows in the next few months.

four! I am excited to say that our soul band is going to be performing august 7th!

ok there is so much to say. Lately I've been incredibly busy, but i want all you out there to know that I'm extremely excited for what's coming up!

finally!

wow. sorry I haven't written in forever! You know I've had a ton going on, I thought I'd have a chance to catch up in minnesota, but I was wrong!

Well I have to say I've had a crazy week.... I played some shows in minneapolis, had dinner with some priests out there (no i'm not catholic), went to the wedding and well I was extremely tired. and the tiredness caused a fainting/passing out on monday which caused some hospital visits. Which caused me to have an interaction with a doctor that was unpleasant. She was saying the most ridiculous things, seriously, who hires these people?

Well overall it was a good time, i'm just glad to be home!

these guys took me to the university club in saint paul ordered a fancy meal and told me stories about mother teresa. It was entertaining!

all the good news!

Ladies and gents, I have been deathly sick in the last week- but I am finally recovering and want you to know a few things.

One, I'm Leaving for minneapolis this week!

two, we are getting the opportunity to record 3 more songs! ya! and ya! the engineer's wife had a heart attack during our session, which was so horrible for everyone involved. But because of the crazy circumstances (which she is doing well now) we get to go in and do more! i'm thrilled. So it means you are going to have to wait till we get done.

Three, I'm stoked to say I attended the Flight of the conchords concert on Saturday night. I bought a ticket last minute and had a blast!!!! it was so fun.

Four, i'm having cool tee's and stickers made.... anyone have request for special merch? I bought a capo from Trace Bundy the other night and thought about how I definitely need more merch.

Lastly, I found out that some coffee shop in seattle was playing my cd when one of my friends walked in today! Love that
! plus I just love seattle! I HEART YOU!

my soul band

yes it's official, we are starting a soul band. Can I just say that soul music is the missing link between all people. Ha ha ha. Who doesn't love lil michael j and the jackson 5, or marvin gay and al green???? I wish i lived in the motown era. we are going to be amazing just like them:





I'm completely serious by the way. We will probably do a show at the beginning of August. So we are still coming up with our official band name, feel free to leave your suggestions!

HELLO. HELLO.

First things first, I'm excited to say that I've booked new shows in Minneapolis. We'll be there from May 20-25th. If you are in St. Paul I hope you can come out and hang!!

Secondly, I'm glad to say that our Ep is going to be mixed down in LA in the next month or two. We are so excited to share our new music with the world! We have a full band including a bunch of extra instruments for your listening pleasure! Arron Johnson will be working on this for us woo! hello everybody!! here comes summer, and it is so exciting to me. I'm getting to do all kinds of amazing things. I'll be spending some of my time working with kids, releasing our recording, traveling and volunteering... oh ya. Fall will be another adventure in and of itself, hopefully including some touring! Woo.

Last night I made my first attempt at writing a concert review. I don't know if it will be used or not, but I was extremely excited because it was a privileged to see this band! Angus and Julia Stone are from Australia and they are on tour with Brett Dennen, who by the way is a fantastic performer.

oh my. we are almost done!

We have been working really hard on the new recording, hours and hours and hours of time. But it's all going to be worth it. It is sounding beautiful and I'm super happy with the progress we have made!!!

I can't sleep.

It's strange, this morning I had coffee with my dear mum and I had nothing to say at all. By the time 7pm rolled around I was full of exciting and funny stories to tell. I don't understand myself. I'm still awake and have a few more things to say...

1. tonight I got a burst of energy talking about the album artwork we are putting together. It is soooo so so exciting to me to be creative. Without it I die... very slowly and become extremely unmotivated and bored.

2. I would like to confess something to all of you that I am very ashamed of....
I started using the word "Dog". "yo dog" "what's up dog". I would like this problem to end now! I am starting to blame it on that stupid guy from American Idol- I watched one episode of the show and all of a sudden I'm using this phrase. I have to say, everytime this man critiques a singer he starts his rant with a, "yo dog, so here's what's up Dog, you were amazing Dog, but... blah blah you're terrible" AHHHHHH. This is something I cannot stand!!!! Whoever made this up should be fined heavily. I hate the 90's! didn't this come from the 90's???

3. my most random thought of the day is..... I desire to go fishing in a canoe right now.

We also did the photo shoot with the piano yesterday. It is perfectly blue and light enough to carry around (if you haven't been reading my blog since august, when I dismantled it, it was ruff taking it apart). anyway it looked amazing and I'll be using those pics for my website and cd design. I'll have to show you the pictures I took with my parents because I got them playing the piano, they are cute.

Well as far as crazy stories go, I have been staying away from a lot of crazy people so I haven't been risking my life or other's lives. But I will say that i got a bike and I am a riding fool.

On Valentine's day we had a concert and raised money for Love146. I partnered with my friend Sarah who owns Sarah Boutique on Mississippi and S. Gaylord st. We raised a good amount of money and I want to thank all of you who gave or who shopped at the store that day! 10% of all the sales went to Love146.

If you want to know more about this organization you can go to love146.org. Love146 is all about pulling people out of sex trafficking. I pulled this off of their site for you, these are the stats:

I want to let you guys know that this blog is obviously for random artistic thoughts and inspiration. Today I am making one exception. Here is my dilema, why is it that everyone around my age or younger is an "expert" on everything? I personally can't stand this about my age group, we all have advice to give or analyzations to make. It's rather annoying. example: I am a runner and on average I probably run one hour 5 times a week. I have been reading about how running effects my metabolism. I mention what i've been learning to a friend, who doesn't run. They then spit out some fact about how what I said about running is wrong and I should actually be doing something else that they know is right. Don't be that guy/girl! I'm no expert, but if I do this 10 times more than you do, don't pretend you know more about it than I do. It makes me want to vomit.

That is the end of my personal rant, whew! I had to get that off of my chest.

In other news I am very excited to go to see Flight of the Conchords when they come to colorado in may!! ya...

i desire to do the same.

it's my birthday today...

Sometimes i feel overwhelmed by life and today was one of those days. To cope I read two full books, worked out, wrote goals and now I'm still awake at 2 in the morning. I've got to say that this year is my year, I can feel it!

Anyway enough about that, I'm playing at the soiled dove friday night it I start at 8:45 and i would love to see your faces!

Also, I wasted 3 hours watching lost tonight! I hate this show, I mean they are so arrogant that they made the first hour a "documentary" about the first 4 seasons. ARG! it's a terrible addiction!!!! (i have a love hate relationship).

In other ramblings tonight while watching lost I recalled the time when I almost choked to death in my living room. ya it was funny to tell the story during the commercial break. So hey you should hear it too. Basically I was eating a tuna sandwich minding my own business when all of a sudden it got lodged in my throat! yikes! I couldn't breathe for about a minute while I ran frantically around my living room pounding my chest! ha. I really did think i was going to lose it right there in the middle of the room, in fact I started heading to the hallway to see if anyone could give me a hand or a punch for that matter, cause i was all alone pounding... i wonder what that looked like. ha ha ha.


ok that's the randomness for the night!!!!

*still alive* and my life is still flashing.

this morning I had a near death experience. I am still shaking and still scared out of my mind. I was driving 60mph down I-70 from Glenwood springs, which is approximately 3 hours from denver (in the mountains). it was hardly snowing and I really wanted to be home. my white honda accord has front wheel drive and I was confident that the 1/4 inch of snow on the ground wouldn't be a problem. Well before you know it, I round a corner and find myself losing control of my car. I tried tapping on the brakes but it just started to spin out of control. As I spun around three times I saw the head lights of a semi-truck and a subaru about 10 feet from crashing into me over and over again. yikes.
At this very moment what crossed my mind was "I can't control this anymore, I'm going to be hit hard by a semi-truck off the side of a mountain and my short life will come to an end". That's when I said "F--- it" extremely loud and let go of the steering wheel and took my foot of the pedals. That's exactly when my car SLAMED against the side of I-70 and the semi and subaru went plowing by at 65 miles an hour.
I immediately jumped out of my car that was now facing on-coming traffic and jumped off the side of the highway to shed some tears.

I have to tell you the last 6 hours have completely shaken me. I almost vomited on the side of the road this morning and I have so much to say about what I've been thinking about since.

I have to run but I'd like to tell you all about it soon, maybe later tonight. Ok I'm going to go shakingly to my next appointment.

I'M ALIVE! SO GLAD!

i'm in aspen for the weekend. I thought while i was hanging out i'd send you all a bit of an update. I'm working with men's health magazine and we are throwing parties/having fun basically. But anyway we are skiing and eating lots of free food. I have to say being a girl in this town has it's rewards. the ratio up here of men to woman must be 10 to 1. i haven't had to pay for a single meal the entire time. But hey it's winter skol right now, this festival is amazing! I have met so many people while I've been up here. It looks like i'll get to work for the x-games in a couple of weeks as well as play some shows up here (met the main booking agency's owner). I also met some people from south america, which is great since i've been wanting to go hang out in Argentina for a long time now.

Well I'll be playing some shows coming up and I'm working hard on new music, so come out. We'll be opening for Rob Drabkin's cd release on the 23 @ the soiled dove. The next night we'll be out at the loft. For Valentines day I'm throwing a benefit show for love146. Would love it if you all came out for that.

I have had some crazy weeks, but I will be blogging regularly as soon as the craziness is over!

I want to put a warning out there for all you ladies: I was harassed by several different men at the nuggets game this week. If you are single and you really need a man- go to a nuggets game. I won't be back, but hey I was asked out 4 times within an hour and even offered money. I'm telling you what real men are hard to come by these days!
well kids this is one of the boys I tutor... cute, oh so cute, his name is adama. I tried to explain to him how basketball works (since we were at a nuggets game) and he apparently is not a fan, but hey i guess him and I have something in common- we hate nuggets games!!! ha ha.

sorry i've been so absent lately...there just hasn't been too much to say, honestly. I'm working on the new album and we are working really hard. But my dreams have been kicking me, it's like I have my own personal life coach. I'll go to sleep and wake up with a whole plan on how to get all the stuff I need to get done in the next two months worked out. It's kind of exhausting honestly...

well tomorrow I think i'm going to go watch this movie with my friend drew. He's leaving forever and that's sad..! many of my good friends have moved away, I'm always bummed to see them go.

late night andrea's jesus sighting.

so I'm bad at late nights I get crazy and start talking crazy. Tonight i don't feel crazy but maybe this post will get wild!

Lately not a lot of weird things have been happening- which is weird in and of itself. But anyways tonight I met "Jesus" or his real name was sebastian. He was playing at the Larimer lounge and I ran into his band mates at my show and they put me on the list. But he looked like mod jesus with some hip sun glasses. I thought I had reached heaven, especially when the back drop lights turned a bluish white, I was pretty sure everything had ended. When i heard he was french i began to question the Jesus status, but When I saw that the cover of his cd was him on a horse galloping over some butt cheeks I realized we were still on earth. Lol!!!

the things that only happen to me.....

I bring out rage in people.

I have to say I once had a woman in a rage throw a hard starbucks scone at me. I did nothing to her but she broke down screaming and I was just standing there- I didn't even see it coming. it was wild.

Another time I was in Daz Bog and older man who worked there turn off the internet, screamed at us for using too much fake sugar and told us to leave. I seriously had no idea what was going on, I was sitting there doing my homework without saying much at all.

I also had an incident with my neighbor. I was painting a chair on the front lawn, minding my own business. my neighbor comes out screaming at me that, "this isn't the ghetto! get that chair off of the front lawn." I was shocked... he yelled more as he walked down the street.

Lastly, one of my neighbors from many years ago came to my front door (also in a rage) and knocked. He proceeded to steal my shoe by putting it down his pants and running away.
SERIOUSLY! I didn't ask for it back.

last night i was reminded of the time I was in a hit and run accident with my next door neighbor. He hit me and drove slowly away. I yelled obsentities at him as I was accidentally holding my phone to my ear... and the person on the other end thought I was dieing. lol. Later that night, after I had taken all the necessary precautions, the police came, but they just happened to bust down the wrong door. I could hear my neighbors screaming beneath me as the cop broke in loudly, without warning. I could also hear him loudly apologizing! I think he was high, I don't have any other conclusion as to how he could mistake it. Well people it's been 3 years and I've collected 1200 dollars from this man as he has been in prison paying for his crimes.

I could probably tell you 30 more stories just like these if not better.... why me?

what's new.

This week i finished writing the 5th song for the new recording. I'm excited about this one people! The songs I've written for it are definitely better than the first album, by far! Woo. To keep you updated I hope to have all of this done by april, so you all can be excited about it too. But I'm currently looking for a great space to record in and a great producer.

so I dreamt that I was hanging with obama last night. he told me what books he was reading and what he was going to do with our economy. I suggested he raise the tax on gas and create an electric car. He told me that his focus was really on windmills and rebuilding roads and schools. Then I told him that the other day I saw a homeless man sporting a sign that said "obama is a commi." He was very disturbed and told me to take care of that. LOL.

you know sometimes I have days where all I want is to do something crazy. Today is that day.

I read this article about this man who was homeless in seattle, it was all about how he created different "apartments" for himself in/on other people's property. The last one he created was a tree house. It made me laugh at how crazy people are!! he was so sneaky/smart that he had electricity, tv, and heat, all of which he stole from the people living in the house. They didn't know he was there for months! Then it reminded me of this little place:

well last night was crazy huh? I was at city o city with a friend and everyone there busted out in presidential election day tears of joy. The emotional reaction was beyond what i was expecting! I was listening to npr today and some of the news is extremely interesting, seems like the whole world is excited. kenya is rejoicing, it sounded more emotional there then it was over here. I'm not sure what I think about obama's opinions on certian issues and policies, but one thing is for sure, the expectations are HIGH. Poor guy- i wouldn't want to be him right now.

Anyway... on other notes, I'm spending my days learning the adobe suite... and i'm becoming obsessed with having a sweet poster collection! my birthday is in january everyone...

well my friends here's what I did...
because I didn't know who this was, I racked my brain for possible people i could think were arrogant. i'm the kind of person who'd rather get straight to the point, so I called the phone number. This happened to be someone who asked me out a year ago! arg! I told him i had no idea who he was, so he kept repeating himself and as soon as i realized it I immediately hung up the phone, mid way through the conversation!
Yes my friends I have hung up the phone on this guy 3 times in the last year. I finally put him in my phonebook as "don't answer." ARG!!!!!!!!!

then I received a text saying, "you are so much in denial it's killing you!"

the only thing I was in denial about is how crazy he is, thinking about it now I was convince he was kind of normal (obviously, since I gave him my phone number).
ARG!!!!!!!!!!! people, if a girl tells you to leave her alone, hangs up the phone on you several times, and the last time you talk to her she doesn't know who you are, take it as a sign- "not interested"

This week has been so productive and extremely creative. I'm really excited about a few things,
one. I finished 20 new shirts for you all.
two. I found the best spanish class and will now be a fluent speaker before you know it.
three. Sarah's fashion show is tonight! come out and hang with us, it's at wash park grille at 9pm.
four. I'm realizing that I love math, yes i'm completely nerdy deep down.
five. I finally feel like I have figured out what I want to do with myself since quitting my job at the label last year. It has been a very interesting process that I'm so glad is over!

Sorry I don't have much to say to you all, the week got the better of me! but I want you to know some things:

1. We are going to the soap box derby on saturday! come if you want it'll be at red rocks.
2. Going to the driving range may be my only piece of sanity left on this planet.

Due to the making of my previous poster I have gained my first few graphic design jobs. I want you to know that before the winter is over I plan on knowing how to run the entire adobe suite. love letters.

today i started a new project. It has something to do with love letters, so I don't want to tell you the full story but check out this hilarious love letter I found today!!!??!! ha ha.



It's amazing to read a bunch of love letters, you see the most intimate sides of people. As I was thinking about it today I remembered the time i was flying to LA last summer. There was this odd guy who got on the plane and sat 2 rows behind me. When I got off the plane I walked all the way down the terminal got my luggage, and waited for 15 minutes for a bus to pick me up. As soon as I stood up to get on the bus he ran up to me tapped me on the shoulder and handed me this paper rolled up with a piece of toilet paper wrapped around it! and then he ran away without saying a single word! I read the letter and it was a very creepy poem, talking about how he was only 2 rows behind watching everything I did!!! I laughed histerically for a good 15 minutes with my friend Bethany smedly. and yes, I kept it just for the entertainment value.

today I recorded a piano piece i wrote for a documentary. I named it ships, It'll be the intro to the movie. It's been a very creative day I wrote music, recorded music, practiced music with a band and almost got to participate in a sing-along with 3 little kids. I had so much fun. All of this has inspired a whole new musical project which we have entitled "shipsters". Yes we will have a bit of pirate and a bit of skinny jean to entertain all of you. I think we will be remixing the sad piano piece i wrote into a faster, electronic beat, djish song. So watch out people. ha ha.

well all day today I talked about going to south africa this winter. and this is where I want to stay:
cape town.... it may happen we'll see. The snow may kill me so I've got to get out of here!


In real news, I am going on a short tour to San Fran in November. This is so great! if you are out in California come see us, I'll post the dates as soon as it's all settled.

being seven again.

This week I've thought a lot about what it was like being a kid. Mainly because I started tutoring second graders. Right after I started thinking about being 7 someone I went to second grade with emailed me, so random! I'm tutoring this one little boy who told me all he wanted was to make friends this year, oh it was so cute and sad.

I'm very happy about getting this done, it was a pain! there are so many stories I can tell you but because it's late all I have to say is at one point in the process we risked our lives due to possible explosion, I cause marital unrest between my parents, chaos ensued and their loud yelling mixed with my car alarm going off and not being able to find my keys made for one heck of a time! I'm so glad we all made it out in one piece still liking each other. My parents crack me up, I came back with some help to pick up the piano and my mom was sitting in the dark with a flash light trying to dismantle it for me- she is 62 and seeing this was so funny, with her little wrench in hand! ha ha! Sometimes she's just trying to be a little too helpful.
trying to find someone to haul the insides away was another pain! but luckily I found this random guy on craigs list. His name is santos and he charged almost nothing.

i have to go to sleep- I haven't slept in 3 nights. I have insomnia for some reason. GOODNIGHT!

the most random thing happened to me yesterday...
I was at a petroleum convention (don't ask why). It didn't take long to realize that almost everyone was a republican conservative who flew in from texas, which was completely expected. I was minding my own business and keeping all my opinions about anything to myself, but at one point I was cornered by a man who started going off about Obama and how much he hated him. Once I left that conversation, luckily uninjured, I ended up in another conversation. This guy (granted there were no women at the convention) wanted to move to colorado but then proceeded to say that maybe he wouldn't because too many "weird" people live here. He was referring to gay people- ahhhhhhh. At this point I was keeping my mouth shut, all I wanted was to get the heck out of there. But before you know it (without any mention of anything) I was told that if I didn't believe in the War I was crazy and stupid.
ok! GOT TO LOVE IT! please don't let me know your opinions 2 inches from my face! i'm also trying to breathe.

so yesterday I picked up a piano for my music video! ok well the truth is- i didn't move it my four friends did- andrew, josiah, seb and john- THANK YOU guys!!!!! so I'm gutting it this weekend and painting it a crazy color.... i'll have to post some before and after pics for you all. and if any of you out there really want to help me gut it, yes I'm open for helpers.

Also- I wanted to let you all know about the tee shirts, what has happened with the entire process is- I made all these shirts and sold them all! so I'm having to make more in order to post them online. Adventures in being a Celebrity. ha.

today i went to monolith. I ran into two strangers who recognized me as "andrea ball". I decided this was a sign that i was officially famous. because of that I decided I could work whatever deals I wanted,

yeah I know a lot of people in this town. So tonight I scored this all access pass and was able to eat for free, drink for free and see devotchka in the front row with a nice free cup o joe. On top of that, while we were leaving the leather seated area below the main stage we noticed that everyone was coming back stage with their special backstage passes (of which I did not have) so I joined the crowd and snuck by all kinds of people to see the band up close and personal. Oh yeah the green room.
sooooo much fun!!!

my favorite band of the day was Cameron McGill.

this book is !!!! wow.

so today i picked up a copy of "the Artist's way". It's a book that teaches you to unleash your creativity. I really think this may completely change my life. I'm not exaggerating! So It's a 12 week process, I'll let you know if my creativity is suddenly massively unleashed and you all will be running out to buy this book. Ha ha. well I feel inspired already, wow! I can't wait to see if I start writing crazy new music.

ok well today an older man basically asked for my hand in Marriage. I refused, but he kept offering houses and cars and free living. It was quite the proposal. ha! I mean when he said i could live for free on the beach in a separate bedroom, i was speechless. ha! ok.? ! if you want to be my boyfriend don't offer me homes and cars the first day you meet me ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on another note, i want you to know that i have an obsession with popsicles. I like them a lot. One day I specifically grabbed a friend and we drove to five points so that we could have a mexican popsicle. I'm telling you what if you are going to have a popsicle you've got to have a mexican one.
so today I found out that I'm not the only person with this obsession, yes people in north carolina have opened their own shops called locopops. um, that's amazing! ha.

I also want to tell you that somewhere here in denver there is a free wheel!n station. I must find it- does anyone know where they put it? (if you have no idea what I'm talking about google it! cause it is a free bike rental stop).

What a crazy fantastic week!!!!! my brother is here from out of town with his lovely girlfriend, I played 3 shows, worked all week for CNN, got on Comedy central and ABC national news, I crashed parties, met cyndie lauper, saw nelly perform and went to the Coldwar kids, nada surf, clap your hands and say yeah, and silversuns concert, made men's shirts and on top of all of that, I don't drink cafine anymore. o my.

so the dazzle show went amazing! Thanks to all who came I had such a blast!!!

the dnc is crazy! If you haven't gone to a free concert yet you are missing out. last night we went to a vip party, snuck in by telling the door person we were all with john elway and the 6 of us had free drinks and food all night! crazy I know, but there was one of guy with us who looked like a young John, so we figured they wouldn't know the difference. Then Nelly came on and Cyndi Lauper decided to stand next to us and hang out all night. we were dorks and got a picture with her.

I want you all to know that yesterday I was hired to put up posters at the dnc. This is a lessoned learned, always ask questions before agreeing to something. So I show up, you know just thinking it'll be something totally random and it won't matter to me at all. Well the box was full of posters with George W. bush on them!!!! For the first few hours I was scared and people were actually yelling at us on the street, I thought, we might be the first to start a riot!!!!!! LOL!
But hey then I realized the movie is a mockery of George's life. So, it made it better and people stopped yelling at us, I guess they couldn't smell the fear anymore....

on another topic... I went to the 9 news building yesterday morning and well it was very high security there. No one was in the lobby and no one would let me in. I waited for about 5 mins before I decided there was definitely someone watching me. so i looked up to the ceiling and said- "I think this is rediculous I know someone is watching me right now" then I pointed at the ceiling and left the building. well before you know it the security guy came running after me! LOLOLOLOL. ok I wasn't really expecting that but whateva, at least I was able to drop off my stuff. *sigh*

dream or reality?

This morning I woke myself up from a dream I was having. In the dream I heard sarah saying "andrea, andrea!" in this low sad scared voice. She was cutting off her fingers! so i woke up thinking this was complete reality and just started yelling "sarah Sarah! stop, are you ok!?" I was extremely loud and just started to quickly get out of my bed when I realized, sarah was NOT cutting off her fingers and this was just all deliriousness talking. It just cracked me up cause never before have I woken up from a dream thinking it was still complete reality. woooooo. (luckily sarah was not awoken by my craziness, but hopefully one day I'll have a recording of her when she talks in her sleep, ha)

This story is hilarious, I was reading about the olympics and randomly ended up on a blog with this story on it. So back in the day there was this olympic gold medalist
she was from poland, her name was Stanisława Walasiewicz. Basically she kicked ass when it came to sports setting over 100 national and world records. HOLD UP!! when she died they found out that she was not a she. In fact, she was more of a He than a she. OK! Basically her male organs were way more obvious than her female ones. They thought about taking all of her accomplishments out of the olympic records but in the end the International olympic committee made no comment. This, my friends, is why when you compete in the olympics you have to take a gender determination test!! WOW.

So I stopped drinking coffee again. yesterday was a pain- my head hurt like someone had beat me up and shoved me into a brick wall head first! so people I don't recommend getting addicted to coffee and then taking yourself off of it. But I must say I am so much happier and alert without it, wooooo luckily the pain was only for a day.

we went to cafe etoile this morning. and frankly we all ordered the same breakfast panini and it was delicious.

yeah I'm a fan of this place they have amazingly good food... it's on pearl just south of alameda- GO there! but they are only open for breakfast and lunch till 2.

yeah so i cut my bangs yesterday.

did anyone see the meteor shower the other night? I wanted to but tiredness set in... in fact I'm still tired from the other night... I have no discipline when it comes to late nights, i just can't leave for some reason.

Well people I highly recommend not seeing Kaboley! it's the dumbest movie i have ever seen.... it's right up there with forces of nature. Did anyone see that movie back in the 90's?

on another subject, I have had a very strange last couple of days! So strange that at one am last night, when I realized I was locked out of my house, I wasn't surprised at all! I sat there on the stoop, fully content calling all the people that lived near by.

Well I have one other favorite place ever and we are going to eat breakfast there on friday, then I will share the most amazingness with you once again.

yesterday...

I was sitting near the pedestrian bridge on 15th and platte minding my own business, when i had a run in with the law. the officer pulled up, rolled down his window and said something I couldn't hear. I picked up my things and went over to ask him if something sketchy was going down in the neighborhood, I said, "I keep seeing all of these cops!" He proceeded to tell me that it was just him driving by over and over again. At this point- I really didn't understand what he was talking about. He asked if I was ok, and I said yes, nothing's wrong here. After that moment, he got out of the car and said "Oh good! I thought you were going to Jump!"

It took me a moment to realize that he thought I was going to commit suicide, because I had been sitting near the bridge for a half an hour. ha!
